THE OHIO STATE COACHING TREE IS AWESOME: There is another fine performance for a coach that attended and played at Kent State University (Ohio), was on the Ohio State football coaching staff, coached at the University of Toledo (Ohio) and also at Michigan State coach Nick Saban. Coaches that have association with Ohio in general have had extreme success in college football.

I agree, that 2001 Hurricanes team was just SICK, they were kinda like an NFL team. I still remember that team, I was 15 years old in 2001, and watched all their games, ESPN and everyone was always comparing them to NFL teams lol. I was so sad when they finally lost a game in 2003 to Ohio State, they were on a 34 game winning streak going into that National Championship game. Yes, Alabama is definitely up there, this 2020 team was crazy good, and unstoppable, it would be cool to see this Bama team vs the 2001 Hurricanes. They lose a lot every year, but yet are still able to become a top 5 team every year. They lost some key offensive players such as QB Tua, WR Jerry Jeudy, and WR Ruggs to the NFL Draft last year. The thing about Bama is that they have so many guys that were 4 and 5 star recruits that were backups on this year's team. Those 4 and 5 star players who are coming back will be starters on next year's team that are able to replace the key starters they are losing this year. Then they have the incoming #1 recruiting class which some of them will contribute. Then there's also some key players that are returning that are not yet eligible for the draft like top DB and Safety Freshman Malachi Moore.

I never liked Saban. I never really knew him. But the more I see him, it Makes me like Saban just a little more. I always thought he was a grumpy old man. But I’m finding out little by little that he’s actually a good guy, with a warm heart. This is coming from a Buckeye who is bitterly jealous of the success that the tide has been having this past decade. I may hate it now, but I’m sure I’ll tell my grandkids how I got to watch the greatest coach ever in coach Saban.
